I'm in the same position Travis. It's tough and often means I'm either up late or very early. This morning I was up at 0530 and posted, for example.
I tend to do my blogging in two hour sessions, but I always start by writing a post, otherwise it's easy to get distracted by other things like looking at feeds, playing on Twitter and so on.
Hope that helps - let's keep in touch and motivate each other.

The calendar idea works Travis, as long as you have material "in hand" If you don't it's a problem, because if Monday is review post day, and you have a brilliant article you want to write on, say, affiliate marketing, you either have to "blow off" your calendar, or write something uninspired.
SO my advice is go for it, but always have one article in each section ready to go for when that day arrives.
Cheers

Thanks for the comment. Goal setting really is so important and you're exactly right about internalization and visualization of your goals - you can't accomplish them if you don't BELIEVE them first!

Good post Travis - I like SMART goals. Something I would add is that once you have your goals written down, you need to review them every morning and every evening, until you can just reel them off by heart. By doing that you get the subconcious mind working on them as well, which is really quite powerful.
Look forward to more posts!
Mike

PS Are you on Twitter? If so say hello @mikecj
